SUMMARY:Leinster Open 2014
DESCRIPTION:The  Leinster Open will take place on Saturday the 15th of November . \nFirstly we have had a few enquiries re Junior/Senior/Masters categories. These are NOT included this year – the reason here was lack of support for Leinster Open 2013 in these categories. We had 25 entries for male/female in Junior/Senior/Masters by closing date last year and the event was run at a loss so we cannot take same chance this year! \n1. For Minor Boys u25/28/31/34/37/41 we will be restricting entry to 1 st 16 entries we receive and are paid for in each category. Whilst we don’t like limiting numbers the hall at Leisurepoint can only take certain numbers comfortably and we have to be aware of this along with the safety/comfort of players/spectators/coaches & officials. If a player pays for one of these Minor categories and has to pull out due to say injury we will refund entry fee paid provided they let us know by the Weds before the event. We will allocate that ‘spare’ slot to next in line that did not make first 16. NB Please get your entries for these categories in early!! \n2. We will have a ‘barrier’ at either end of contest areas and only officials\, coaches with coach pass (see below) and players competing in event that is running at that time (see below) will be allowed in ‘table/control table area’. There will be ‘stewards’ at either each barrier to control who has access to control area. \n3. We will have a coach pass system in place for event. Coaches will have to pay a nominal amount (probably €5 or €10) which will be refunded when coach pass returned at end of event. We can re-use these at future events. \n4. We will introduce a player ‘card’ which all players will get once they register at weigh in. These cards must be produced when their event is called and they show card to steward at barrier and give to table staff when checking in after their category called. \n  \nLeinster Open 2014 Entry Form \n
