You are Here: About Us
ABOUT US
We are a new democratic organisation based all
around Ireland to promote the sport of judo. The
emphasis will be on defining core objectives, identifying
short, medium and long-term goals and developing
action plans to achieve these goals. This will be
done by building judo from the bottom up by:
- Getting more young people involved in judo at
clubs, schools and colleges.
- Bringing the sport to new areas in both rural
and urban centres.
- By working with a team of professional paid
coaches, semi-professional and voluntary coaches.
- We aim to work with other national governing
bodies where we have common objectives.
- We aim to get our best coaches coaching all
over the country and not just confine them to
elite players.
- We aim to promote Easter and summer training
camps.
- We aim to build a national centre.
